Team gives every practitioner the same Pro+ research coverage while the firm manages access, roles, seats, usage, API keys, and billing centrally. Members still keep separate TaxMCP accounts and connect their own AI tools.
Every member gets unlimited research through supported AI connections and the full Pro+ library: the Internal Revenue Code, Treasury Regulations, IRS publications and guidance, 35 supported state jurisdictions, and more than 49,000 U.S. Tax Court opinions. Team also includes usage visibility, priority support, centralized billing, member roles, and team API keys.
Team is $39 per seat with monthly billing or $348 per seat per year, equivalent to $29 per seat per month. A Team account starts with three seats, so the minimum is $117 monthly or $1,044 annually, before applicable tax or discounts.
No. Each person signs in to TaxMCP separately and connects their own ChatGPT account, Claude account, or both. The firm controls membership and billing without asking practitioners to share credentials.
When the owner sets up Team billing, they can replace their paid personal plan or keep it alongside Team. If they replace it, TaxMCP ends the personal paid subscription after Team payment succeeds and refunds eligible unused time; the personal account and its connections remain separate on Free.
The owner counts as one seat, and a pending invitation reserves a seat until it is accepted or revoked. Added seats are charged on a prorated basis for the rest of the billing period. Seat reductions take effect at the next renewal.
